Orange: Where's Welly

The Where's my Welly campaign ran just before the start of the Glastonbury festival. The site allowed one user to win tickets to the festival for the two weeks before it started. Every day a new hi-res image was shown to the user with an Orange welly somewhere in the image. Once the welly was found the user could submit their details into the competition draw.


Each image was displayed using a deep zoom technique where the image was broken up into thousands of tiles at different zoom levels. In a similar way to Google Maps, as the user moved around the image the relevant tiles were loaded in view.
