Routes

Routes was an alternative reality game that ran for 8 weeks at the beginning of 2009. The Routes experience explores genetics and bio-ethics using a variety of platforms to appeal to a young audience.

We were responsible for making the online experience a reality, with elements including building www.routesgame.com and a full user / content management system allowing an adminstrator to change content daily on the site, as well as contacting all users of the game via a SMS / email enabled messaging system. We also built many additional sites as part of the game including the finale that combined a live lab raid, CCTV video streams, and live SMS voting.
