Orange Balloonacy

Balloonacy is by far the most ambitious and challenging project we've been involved in. It is essentially a multi player game that allows your chosen balloon to traverse the internet visiting hundreds of websites that are part of the Balloonacy map.

Our role was to lead the flash development team and liaise closely with the large backend team to integrate through all the different levels of functionality. From building real time messaging systems to news feeds, commenting, minigames, adding and removing friends, maps, hyperblasts, mobile integration – this project had it all, with 6 months work culminating in a 10 day live period.
